"Languages meet Sport" was the first European Conference on Languages and Intercultural Dialogue through Sport, which took place in Trieste on October 16-17 2009.

The conference, organised by LEN (Ligue Européenne de Natation) and Leader–Comunicare interculture presented "the best European projects combining the dialogue between different languages and cultures through sports", and was supported by the EU Life Long Learning Programme aiming to provide a forum for those who work in the field of education, culture, media, sports and public institutions. |

Vivere l'italiano was pleased to be able to contribute to, and participate in, the event, and have the opportunity to present the our work and methods used in "Let's talk Zola", the language outreach programme run in partnership with West Ham United Learning Zone.
